HUNTINGTON, W.Va.– A pair of Marshall commits have changed their minds and will not suit up next season for Marshall and new head coach Dan D’Antoni.
Jaylen Brantley and Henry Uwadaie have been released from their scholarships commitments.
Brantley was once a Top 100 recruit and coming out of high school had offers from Syracuse, Florida, Louisville, Georgetown, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Richmond, Rhode Island, Iowa State and Missouri. However, he chose attend Marshall as an academic non-qualifer. He sat out the 2013-14 season and would have been eligible to play this coming year.
