Marshall Football Starts Spring Practice On Tuesday

Marshall University’s football team will conduct the first of 15 spring practice sessions on Tuesday, March 29, at 3 p.m. The start of spring practice was moved up one day because of the weather.

The practice session at Joan C. Edwards Stadium is open to the media and the general public. Fans attending practice are prohibited from photographing or recording any segments of practice and using hand held devices during the practice session. Violators will be asked to leave.

A complete spring practice schedule, with the updated spring roster and quick facts information will be distributed on Monday and will be available online at www.Herdzone.com<http://www.Herdzone.com>.

Marshall will practice again on Friday and Saturday of this week and then practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays for the remainder of the spring practice period. Weekday practices are scheduled for approximately 3 p.m. and Saturday practices are TBA. All dates and times are subject to change.

Spring practice will conclude with the annual Green & White game at 4 p.m on Saturday, April 23. The annual Big Green Scholarship Foundation Dinner will kick-off spring game weekend on Friday evening at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena and Marshall Athletics will host a ceremony to celebrate the re-birth of Marshall Football at the Memorial Fountain on Saturday (April 23) at 11 a.m.
