West Virginia Little League Team Eliminated from LLWS

 

The Fairmont Little League team representing West Virginia in the Southeast Regional of the Little League World Series could only muster four hits and committed three errors in a 7-0 loss Wednesday afternoon to Georgia. The loss eliminates them from the Little League World Series Tournament.

Jake Fromm led Georgia with three hits, two RBI and two runs scored while Jacob Giles struck out ten in six innings.

For West Virginia David McQuain, Angelo Hall, Cam Stewart and Austin Kuhn all registered hits.

The team won two games in the Southeast Regional before falling to Florida and Georgia. They beat Virginia 11-3 and South Carolina 8-6.
