Tiger To Play In Greenbrier Classic

Tiger Woods is coming to the Greenbrier Classic, Greenbrier’s owner Jim Justice announced on Monday.

Woods will be making his debut in the tournament, which is going into its third year.  The tournament is moved up a couple of weeks this year and will be held the week starting July 1st.

Phil Mickelson has already announced he’ll be making his return to the Greenbrier for the second straight year.  Others expected to be in the field as well include defending champion Scott Stallings, Sergio Garcia, Kenny Perry, and Tom Watson.

Stallings won the 2011 Greenbrier Classic in a playoff.
