ESPN is reporting former Huntington guard O.J. Mayo has agreed to a multiyear deal with the Dallas Mavericks.
Mayo tweeted he’d picked the Mavs, but they hadn’t reached a deal when he sent the tweet Monday night. The 24-year-old point guard has played four NBA seasons, all with the Memphis Grizzlies. He averaged 15.2 points per game.
Mayo was born in Huntington and played for Huntington High School in the 2006-07 school year.
