West Virginia has added Georgia State to its 2013 football schedule, wrapping up a nonconference slate that includes a home date against FCS member William & Mary and a matchup against Maryland in Baltimore.
WVU athletics director Oliver Luck made the announcement Wednesday regarding Georgia State, a third-year program under coach Bill Curry.
The Panthers, 0-6 this season and struggling to draw fans to home games at the Georgia Dome, will climb into the FBS next fall to join the Sun Belt Conference. They are scheduled to visit Morgantown on Sept. 14, 2013.
