Republican Freedom Dinner Tonight

There’s no more space available at the Charleston Marriott this evening for the West Virginia Republican Party’s first Freedom Dinner.

West Virginia Republican Chair Conrad Lucas said it’s been an exciting year so far for the Republican Party and this dinner is going to continue that.

It’s going to be a great night to celebrate with a lot of conservative folks,” said Lucas. “Our candidates are all going to be there and we’re looking forward to predicting a strong victory in November and celebrating with everybody a little bit early.”

The sold out event will feature special speakers including Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky.

Lucas said everyone is looking forward to hearing from the special speakers and he said he has an idea of what Senator McConnell will talk about.

“How important it is for us to flip the Senate and that starts here in West Virginia with John Raese,” said Lucas. “I know Mr. McConnell is very excited about John Raese’s candidacy and I’m excited to have him here to discuss that race in particular.”

Lucas believes this dinner will provide the grassroots momentum the party needs to finish strong in the next few weeks leading up to the November General Election.

The Freedom Dinner is expected to get started at 6 pm.
