UPDATE:
Two people dead after a head-on collision between pick-up trucks Friday morning in Mingo County.

The crash happened at just after 7 o’clock on U.S. Route 52 at Middle Burning Creek near Kermit.

Police said Donald Hill of Staffordsville, Kentucky crossed the centerline with his compact pick-up and crashed head on into a one-ton utility body pick-up truck.

Hill had a medical condition and may have fallen asleep, said police. The other driver has been identified as Randy Goble.

Both drivers died at the scene of the crash. An investigation is underway.
