One Person Killed In Cabell County Crash

One person is dead and another is in the hospital after an accident Tuesday in Cabell County.

Police said the accident happened around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday on Ohio River Road, also known as Route 2, in the Lesage area.

The victim in the two car accident has been identified as Justin Ray, 25, of Kenova.

Police say Ray was driving his van when he rear-ended a truck stopped on the side of Route 2.

The passenger in the van was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police have not released his name.

A person in the truck was not taken to the hospitals but did complain of some pain, said police.

An investigation is ongoing.
