Parkersburg police probing alleged library child porn case

Police in Parkersburg are investigating an alleged child pornography incident at the Parkersburg Public Library.

The police department’s computer crimes investigator got a call Friday afternoon from a state computer monitor that child porn was being viewed at that time at the public library on Emerson Street.

Police responded to the building and began questioning a man. They then got a search warrant for his house, which is located in Parkersburg. Investigators are going through the evidence. No charges have been filed at this time.

The man is in jail or unrelated charges.
