Another blow to Morgantown

Morgantown will now be without two of its starters for the remainder of the season. Senior Austin Agnew underwent an MRI on an injured knee on Wednesday that revealed he will need surgery, ending his season.

Earlier in the week, the Mohigans lost standout and WVU signee Nathan Adrian for 6-8 weeks due to a broken foot. There is the chance Adrian could return if the Mohigans are able to make it to the state tournament.

Without Adrian and Agnew, the Mohigans still took down Preston earlier this week, 61-52. The Mohigans earlier this year solidified themselves as a Class AAA title contender by knocking off previously No. 1 Martinsburg 64-59 back on January 19th.
