Martinsburg (18-2) stays as the No. 1 team in the Warner Law Offices MetroNews Power Index for boys high school basketball in the state. South Charleston (18-1) stays at No. 2 overall following wins over Winfield, Nitro, Capital and Spring Valley.
Greenbrier East (17-2) stays at No. 3, despite a loss to 63-52 loss to Princeton. Princeton comes in at No. 8 following the win with a 16-4 record. Morgantown (14-5) split a pair of games with University and fell to Wheeling Park, but comes in at No. 4, just ahead of Woodrow Wilson (16-4).
Bluefield (17-2) is the highest Class AA team ranked, coming in overall at No. 13. The Beavers suffered their second loss on the year, falling to No. 3 Greenbrier East.
The highest ranked Class A team is Tug Valley (16-3), coming in at No. 20, following a 61-38 win over Charleston Catholic.
