Powerball strikes twice in West Virginia

There are two new $1 million Powerball winners in West Virginia. State Lottery Director John Musgrave announced Thursday each ticket matched five numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.

The tickets were sold at the One Stop at 1413 U.S. Route 60 in Huntington and in Boone County at the Julian Mini Mart in Julian.

Musgrave says it’s the first time that two Powerball tickets worth $1 million each have been sold in West Virginia at separate locations for the same drawing.

The winners haven’t yet come forward.
