Two injured in Charleston shooting

Charleston police are looking for some cooperation after multiple shots were fired early Saturday morning on the city’s West Side.

Shots rang out in the 1500 block of West Washington Street near the Smokehouse Restaurant at around 3:30.

Police say a man and a woman were injured. One of the victims showed up at Thomas Hospital in South Charleston and the other was taken to CAMC.

Charleston police believe there were several people involved. Officers report vehicles and buildings were damaged by gunshots.
