Powerball winning ticket sold in Beckley

The West Virginia Lottery says a winning $1 million Powerball ticket was sold in Beckley before last Saturday night’s drawing.

The purchaser has yet to come forward.

Lottery Director John Musgrave says the ticket was purchased at the Little General Store on Robert C. Byrd Drive. It matched five numbers and only missed the Powerball.

The winning numbers Saturday were 3-7-21-44-55 and the Powerball was 16.

It’s the third $1 million Powerball ticket sold in the state in the last two weeks. Mary Carr of Barboursville and the Gillispie Family of Boone County had winning numbers in the March 8 drawing.
