Laid off workers show up for meeting

Eighty contract workers who are being laid off from their federal jobs in Martinsburg showed up at an informational meeting with WorkForce West Virginia Tuesday.

A total of 96 contract workers with ATF are casualties of federal budget cuts. WorkForce officials went over the agency’s services and how they can help the laid off workers get back to work and train for new careers.
