Goard, Roberts set to sign with NFL teams

Former Capital standout and Eastern Kentucky receiver Tyrone Goard was set Saturday night to sign a free agent contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. Goard finished his senior season with 41 catches for 900 yards and eight touchdowns in 10 games with Eastern Kentucky.

Meanwhile, former Scott High running back Jordan Roberts, who had a stint with WVU, was set Saturday night to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs. Roberts ran for 1,572 yards and 18 touchdowns this past season with Charleston, being named the WVIAC Offensive Player of the Year.
