Kickoff times set for 5 Herd football games

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Kickoff times have been set for five of Marshall’s 12 games this season and the Conference USA released its composite television schedule for the 2013 season.

Marshall will be televised three times on CBS Sports Network and Fox Sports Net, with the Herd appearing on Comcast Sports South Nov. 9 against UAB.

CBSSN will carry Marshall’s 7 p.m. season opener vs. Miami (Ohio) on Aug. 31, its Nov. 2 date vs. Southern Miss (12:30 p.m. Eastern) and the regular season finale against East Carolina (noon Eastern).

FSN will have three of Marshall’s road dates. The first will be the Oct. 24 game at Middle Tennessee (7:30 p.m. Eastern), followed by Nov. 14’s game at Tulsa (7:30 p.m. Eastern) and the Nov. 23 game at Florida International (TBA).

“We are very pleased to once again have a significant number of our football games on television and distributed to fans throughout the country,” said Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky. “As we welcome our new members that join our current outstanding group of schools, we are looking forward to an exciting conference season that our fans will be able to watch throughout the fall.”
