Mon County man indicted for murder

The Monongalia County Grand Jury returned more than 80 indictments, among them a first-degree murder indictment for a Morgantown man already in prison.

Thomas “T-Dot” Williams is accused of shooting to death Quintin Bolden in 2011. Bolden disappeared in November 2011 and his body was found in Cheat Lake on Jan. 31, 2012.

Williams and Bolden allegedly got into an argument at a Bitonti Street apartment in Morgantown where Williams shot and killed him. The indictment shows Williams “unlawfully, feloniously, willfully, maliciously, intentionally, deliberately and premeditatedly shot and killed Bolden.”

During the investigation, police said they checked the apartment and discovered a large portion of the carpet had been removed.

Williams is serving time for a federal drug conviction.
