Separate accidents claim two lives

Two men died during the weekend in West Virginia following separate accidents.

State Police in Berkeley County said Donovan Travis, 27, of Hedgesville, was killed Saturday morning when he lost control of his car on Allensville Road and crashed into a tree.

Travis was found outside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police in Huntington said a city man died Sunday morning after he was struck by a train in the 400 block of west Eighth Ave.

The victim was identified as Kevin Tierney, 55, of Huntington.
