Huntington man faces child porn charges

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A man is behind bars after child pornography was found when he submitted his computer for repairs.

Brad Maynard of Huntington was arrested and charged Wednesday with distribution and possession of material depicting minors in sexual acts, according to an arrest warrant from Cabell County Magistrate Court.

Maynard was being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond Wednesday night. Police said more charges are pending.

According to the warrant, Maynard took his computer to a Huntington computer store for repairs. Police said they were notified by a computer technician who found the illegal videos.
