Deadly fire in Braxton County

Duck, W.Va. — The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a deadly fire in Braxton County.

Firefighters responded to the blazeĀ on Runyan Ridge Road Tuesday morning near the Braxton-Clay county line close to the community of Duck.

There were two residences and an outbuilding damaged in the fire.
