Mon County attorney indicted

Fairmont, W.Va. – Morgantown attorney S. Sean Murphy has been indicted by the Marion County grand jury on a charge of malicious assault.

It stems back to an altercations between Murphy and another Morgantown lawyer, Scott Radman on January 22.

According to the criminal complaint, the two got into a fist fight on the fourth floor of the city/county complex in Fairmont.

Murphy claims Radman threw a cup of coffee in his face and put him in a choke hold. Radman claims Murphy was the first to throw a punch. He suffered a fractured skull and two broken eye sockets.

Civil lawsuits have also been filed.
