Worker killed in trucking accident in Fairmont

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Fairmont police officers are investigating a Thursday morning death that happened as a worker was trying to stop a large truck.

Investigators say the truck, owned by Reclaim Company, LLC, got away from the worker and when he tried to stop it the rig ran over him.

The semi-truck hit two other vehicles on First Street in Fairmont.

All of the vehicles were owned by Reclaim Company.

Police have not released the name of the victim. He was 50.
