How does Vegas view WVU in 2013?

West Virginia linebacker Isaiah Bruce (31) and safety Karl Joseph formed a standout freshman duo in 2012. Now they’re counted upon to be leaders in 2013.

LAS VEGAS — Hungry for early college football odds? Well, the bookmakers at The Golden Nugget have released their lines for some 250 college football games next season, and eight WVU games are among them.

The Mountaineers are at least touchdown underdogs in six of those matchups:

Sept. 7: West Virginia at Oklahoma (-16)

Sept. 21: West Virginia (-2) at Maryland

Sept. 28: Oklahoma State (-11) at West Virginia

Oct. 5: West Virginia at Baylor (-7)

Oct. 26: West Virginia at Kansas State (-9)

Nov. 2: West Virginia at TCU (-10)

Nov. 9: Texas (-12) at West Virginia

Nov. 29: Iowa State at West Virginia (-7.5)

The Golden Nugget did not offer early lines on four WVU games — Georgia State, Texas Tech, Kansas and FCS member William & Mary. (Most Vegas sportsbooks typically don’t set lines on games pairing major-college schools and FCS members.)
