Man arrested in connection with Kanawha County murder

CHARLESTON, W. Va.– An arrest has been made in connection with a murder in Elkview last month.

Kanawha County Deputies arrested and charged Steven Randolph with murder Thursday. He was arraigned later Thursday night in Kanawha County Magistrate court.

Deputies said Randolph murdered David Lemons, 28, on May 20 inside his Darlington Lane trailer.

One of Lemons friends called 911 after seeing Lemons’ body through a window, lying on the floor of the trailer.

At this time, deputies have not released a possible motive as the investigation continues.
