No injuries reported in hard landing for helicopter

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. — It will be up to investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration to determine what brought down a helicopter in Monongalia County on Wednesday afternoon.

State Police confirmed the helicopter had a hard landing near Lower Hildebrand Road after noon.  The helicopter was reportedly doing subcontracting work through First Energy and was en route from Morgantown to Fairmont.

Two people were on board but no injuries were reported on Wednesday evening.
