2 hospitalized after stabbing in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. — A man and a woman were hospitalized after a stabbing incident Tuesday night.

Police said it happened around 10:30 p.m. on 27th Street near Latulle Avenue and Guyan Avenue.

Dispatchers said a woman called and said her 38-year-old neighbor had been stabbed.

When police arrived on scene they found a man with a stab wound to his arm. He told officers that he ran to a neighbor’s house for help after his ex-girlfriend stabbed him. The ex-girlfriend told police the man assaulted her.

Both the man and the woman are expected to survive.

An investigation is underway.
