Fatal crash in Kanawha County

CEDAR GROVE, W. Va. — An investigation was underway at the scene of a fatal accident in Kanawha County on Monday night.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Belle Creek Road in Pond Gap. The area is located off Kellys Creek Road near Cedar Grove.

Emergency officials said the driver lost control, flipped the car and reportedly became pinned beneath the vehicle.

The victim’s name and age have not been released.
