BECKLEY, W. Va.– Parts of Raleigh County are dealing with some localized flooding and high water after a storm rolled through the area late Monday night.

The National Weather Service had issued a Flood Warning for central Raleigh County Monday night that expired at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Meteorologists with the NWS reported that anywhere from an inch and a half to two inches of rain had fell in the central part of the county due to a strong storm that stalled south of Beckley.

Meteorologists expected the rain would come to an end around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
