HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Huntington landlord who accepted illegal drugs as payments for monthly fees is heading to prison on drug charges.
According to a release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin’s Office, Jerry A. Lowe, 46, was sentenced Monday to three years and 10 months in prison on federal oxycodone charges.
Lowe admitted to a federal judge to selling oxycodone tablets in exchange for $90 cash on March 16, 2012.
The release also stated that Lowe would typically receive heroin or prescription painkillers from two convicted felons as payment for monthly rent.
Additionally , Lowe also purchased oxycodone pills from another resident at the Highlawn Avenue apartment complex.
Lowe previously pleaded guilty in March to distribution of oxycodone.
