One killed, three injured in Doddridge County wreck

WEST UNION, W.Va. — A Harrison County woman is dead and three others are injured following a wreck involving two vehicles on Route 50 in Doddridge County on Wednesday.

State Police said Mindy Weaver, 30, of Bridgeport was killed when she lost control of her vehicle and it crossed the median near Long Run Road and slammed into another vehicle heading in the other direction.

Troopers said child in Weaver’s vehicle was hurt.  Two others in the vehicle that was hit, David Naill, 43, and Karen Lemmert, 43, both from Westminster Car, Maryland, were critically injured.

That accident happened shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

State Police troopers and deputies with the Doddridge County Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
