Spain: ‘We’re more together’

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — As summer football workouts continue at West Virginia, junior left tackle Quinton Spain sees an odd, but rather obvious, sign of team chemistry improving.

“People are giving all the people rides to get here, so that’s why I feel we’re more like a team,” he said. “Last year you couldn’t even get a ride from somebody here.”

Spain’s position appears to be the only locked-down job along the Mountaineers offensive line, and there’s potential for him to develop into an NFL early draft entry this season. Hear more of his interview above.
