Small fire at Logan County Courthouse

LOGAN, W.Va. — An small electrical fire forced workers and residents out of the Logan County Courthouse Friday morning.

The Logan Fire Dept. said the fire began in a florescent light ballast in the circuit clerk’s office on the courthouse’s third floor. There was a lot of smoke but no injuries.

Logan County workers and others inside the courthouse were getting out of the building when firefighters arrived on the scene.
