Charleston drive by shooting under investigation

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – A drive-by shooting is under investigation, in Charleston. A 24-year-old man walked into St. Francis Hospital around 6:30 a.m. Sunday. He’d been shot in the arm.

Police say the victim told them he was in the 2400 block of Washington Street West, in Charleston, when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside the car fired several rounds.

The victim’s injury is not life threatening. Police are investigating.
