Suspect named in Huntington shooting death

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Huntington man is now wanted for murder.

Huntington Police said Monday a search warrant had been issued for David Pitts, 25, in connection with the shooting that happened early last Friday morning at Gary’s Lounge.

Pitts allegedly opened fire in the crowded Tenth Avenue bar.

Deangelo Erquhart, 23, died after being shot multiple times.

No other injuries were reported.
