WHEELING, W.Va. — The mother of a missing Lewis County girl is no longer in jail.

On Thursday, U.S. Federal Magistrate James Siebert released Lena Lunsford who was arrested for twice violating the terms of her supervised release last month.

Lunsford is on probation after serving time behind bars for selling her federal food stamp benefits.

Those monitoring Lunsford said she has continued to violate the terms of her probation by having contact with a convicted felon, the father of the child of what will be her eighth child.

Any more problems could lead to a contempt of court filing against her.

Lunsford’s three-year old daughter Aliayah has never been found after disappearing from the family’s home in Lewis County in September 2011.

Everytime I hear this person's name, I think of the child, Aliayah and her sad face with her teeth out and a frown at her young age. I believe she was abused and disposed of. It makes me sick. I pray she is in a better place. God knows she had no mother.

Take the baby away, sterilize this baby mill and no more public assistance from taxpayer money!

The courts are an utter failure in this.

Disgusting! She has already shown contempt for the legal system by taking up w/a convicted felon. Why on earth would the judge think that she will comply w/anything they say??

Slap her on the hand and let her get away with it.
