Where were the parents? Sometimes you can have a strong grip on their hand and they break
away and go out into traffic thinking it's a game and all laughing etc.
A child is a full time job. You must teach them everything. One is never to cross the road unless you are with mommy or an adult but
some are rebellious and will do the
exact opposite. Then comes the penalty phase. The young ones must be protected they do not know best. The adults should know best.
When a chid is hit it is they wandered into the road, broke away and darted into traffic, or walked into the road without looking, plus chased a ball into the
road and you should stop for a ball
because an unfocused child will be
right after it. That is why all bicycle
riders should be licensed if they
ever go into the street. That means
they should be able to read and/or
recognize signs. Maybe a lot more
young ones would be around longer!

Perhaps you should get the facts before running your mouth?

You know what ignorance is bliss. You ask where the parents were, unfortunately the father was there. When you rattle off nonsense like you have done it proves there are still a lot of ignorant people who for whatever reason know how to get on a computer and comment on things they know nothing about. My suggestion to you is either get a new hobby besides the computer or get all the facts before saying things that are far from the truth. It was an accident and it could happen to anyone even you so don't run you mouth and jinx yourself.
