Teenager killed in Clay County crash

CLAY COUNTY, W.Va. — A teenage boy is dead after an accident between a motorcycle and a car Tuesday evening.

The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of W.Va. 16 and Nebo School Road in Clay County. 

The West Virginia State Police said the 15 year old boy was riding the motorcycle on Nebo School Road and attempted to turn onto W.Va. 16 when he was hit by an oncoming car.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car was not hurt in the crash. Troopers said no charges will be filed against the driver.

The boys name has not been released.
