CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The brother of a murder suspect in Kanawha County is now facing charges of his own.

Kanawha County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tremain Straughter Monday for allegedly threatening a witness in the murder case involving his brother Tremale Straughter.

Tremain Straughter accused of harassing a witness in the murder case

On June 6, 2013 Tremale was indicted and arraigned for the murder of Donovan “Don Don” Taylor in Rand on February 14, 2013.

Deputies said the witness in the murder case called detectives to report harassment by a relative of the murder suspect. Detectives then sought a warrant for Tremain for witness intimidation and stalking.

Tremain is in the South Central Regional Jail in lieu of $75,000.00 cash bond.

Tremale is waiting to go on trial on a first degree murder charge.
