DALLAS, Texas — Who cares about the lack of big-name quarterbacks in the Big 12? Not Eddie George, who anticipates a banner year for running backs in the league.

He’s intrigued to watch Baylor’s Lache Seastrunk, Oklahoma’s Damien Williams and “the three-headed monster at Texas.” He also alludes “a few others who can dominate” — perhaps an unbilled nod to West Virginia’s Charles Sims?

The Heisman Trophy winner, now working as an analyst for Fox Sports, also said he’ll be interested to see whether WVU regains the rushing attack that abandoned it at times last fall.

Keep up the good work Allan, I enjoy your insight.

I think it's a no brainer, at least for the first few games till someone steps up to be THE QB. Though this may work to our advantage, not knowing if we have an air attack or not and a great running game and controlling the time clock may work in our favor this year as long as if the coach is able to adjust to it....I guess we will have to wait and see.
