Bank robberies in WV

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Police continue their investigations into two separate bank robberies Friday in West Virginia. Authorities have made an arrest in one of the crimes.

Police in Cabell County have charged William Spencer Farley, 25, with armed robbery.

Police say Farley robbed the City National Bank along U.S. 60 in Barboursville at shortly after 1 p.m. .

Authorities in Berkeley County are looking for the man who robbed an Inwood bank Friday. The Susquehanna Bank branch was held up at about 10:30 a.m.

No arrests have been made.

In the Cabell County hold-up, Farley allegedly entered the bank, pulled out a gun and demanded money. He then fled the scene with $3,007 in cash.

When he was arrested, police say Farley was wearing the same clothing and shoes he was seen wearing in bank surveillance video.

Farley was taken to the Western Regional Jail. His bond was set at $250,000.
