Earthquake reported in Gilmer County

GLENVILLE, W.Va. — The second earthquake in as many weeks was recorded early Tuesday morning in Gilmer County.

Officials with the U.S. Geological Survey say the epicenter for the magnitude 2.8 earthquake was about seven miles south of Glenville.

No damages were reported.

On July 20, a magnitude 2.7 earthquake shook the ground in the same area near Glenville.
