LEWISBURG, W.Va. — A Fayette County man has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison for being a three-time convicted felon.
David White, 48, of Meadow Bridge, was sentenced Tuesday morning in Greenbrier County Circuit Court on the recidivism conviction.
White was found guilty back in February on 21 criminal counts in connection with burning five vehicles parked at the West Virginia State Police Detachment in Rainelle in 2011.
The Greenbrier County Prosecutor’s Office then filed the recidivism motion, also known as three strikes and you’re out. Another court hearing found White was the same person convicted of felonies in two previous cases kicking in the life prison term.
White was sentenced Tuesday by Greenbrier County Circuit Judge Joseph C. Pomponio.
