MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Monongalia County husband has plead guilty in a case in which he was accused of drugging his wife.

William Francis Poling Jr., 42, of Dellslow, pleaded guilty Friday to misdemeanor battery as part of a plea deal in Monongalia County Magistrate Court.

State Police said Mr. Poling allegedly crushed a tablet of the sedative Ambien and put it in wife’s drink, which she later drank without knowing the contents. Once she was asleep, that’s when Mr. Poling took his wife phone and tried to check her phone calls, messages and emails, police said.

Mr. Poling’s wife was Barbour Prosecutor Leckta Poling.

As part of Friday’s plea deal, Mr. Poling was fined $500 and also agreed to pay $2,000 in restitution for medical bills and other costs to his estranged wife.

Ms. Poling’s lawyer indicated that she was in agreement with the plea deal at the hearing.

He slipped her one of her sleeping pills. Common Ambien. Prescribed to hundreds of women. Why did he do it? Previously stories say so he could find out who she was sleeping with by checking her phone logs, text msg's, etc.

Now has the immoral prosecutor been fired and disbarred yet or will this be swept under the rug like the rest of the elite and their unscrupulous behavior and criminal activity. How many guys was she playing outside the home?

Is there more to this story?! I mean, the guy drugged her.
