Powerball jackpot takes another jump

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — With no winner in Saturday night’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot continues to climb.

The current estimated Powerball jackpot annuity amount now stands $400 million with a $230.3 million cash option.

The $400 million prize is still well below the record $590.5 million jackpot won in May by an 84-year-old Florida woman.

The odds of matching all six numbers is 1 in 175.2 million.

West Virginian’s have till 10:59 p.m. Wednesday to buy tickets before the next drawing.
