Jackpot gets bigger

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Powerball jackpot is growing.

State lottery officials said the jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing is now estimated at $425 million.  A winner taking the cash option would receive more than $244 million.

Strong ticket sales across the country are being credited with helping drive up that jackpot.
