Allegiant Air adds Bridgeport flights

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Allegiant Air will soon be flying out of the North Central West Virginia Airport in Harrison County.

Starting on November 14, Allegiant will be offering twice weekly flights between Bridgeport and Orlando-Sanford International Airport.  The new Florida service was announced Tuesday.

Allegiant already offers flights out of Huntington’s Tri-State Airport in Cabell County to Orlando-Sanford and Tampa-St. Petersburg in Florida along with Myrtle Beach, S.C.

In Bridgeport, Allegiant joins United Airlines which currently flies from the North Central West Virginia Airport to Washington-Dulles International Airport.

Allegiant was found in 1997 and is based in Las Vegas.
