Four to join Higher Education Policy Commission

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Four people will soon be joining the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission.

Governor Earl Ray Tomblin appointed Gary White from Logan, Michael Farrell from Huntington, Dr. Bruce Berry from Morgantown and Dr. John Leon from Fairmont to the board that oversees the state’s colleges and universities.

“Each of these individuals brings valuable knowledge and experience to the Higher Education Policy Commission,” said Tomblin in a statement.

“Their commitment to our institutions of higher learning that provide today’s students with the abilities and skill-sets needed to become tomorrow’s leaders is invaluable and I’m grateful for their commitment to the next generation.”
