United Bankshares, Inc. shareholders will be getting a third quarter dividend.
United Bankshares Board of Directors announced Monday a third quarter dividend of $0.31 per share for shareholders of record as of September 13.
The dividend payout will come out to around $15.6 million on 50.4 million shares. The dividend is payable October 1.
The annualized 2013 dividend of $1.24 equates to a yield of approximately 4.3% based on recent UBSI market prices.
This is the 39th consecutive year United has increased its dividend to shareholders.
